After a rather tough play, Galaxia FC's Daniel Collado got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alberto Umaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Najarro having to interfere. Ovidio Portillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Cetino, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jonathan Toledano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Galaxia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Umaña came free, but Augusto Najarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dagoberto Sifon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Sifon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Najarro having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 55 minutes, Marcelo Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bowburn and the Galaxia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Bowburn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Bowburn's Ovidio Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Cetino in the 59th minute of play. Marcelo Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gabriel Cetino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Portillo having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Bowburn's Jonathan Toledano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Dagoberto Sifon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bowburn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Sifon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Gilberto Lovo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Portillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 88th minute, Alberto Umaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rolando Galeas fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaxia FC's protests and gave Rolando Galeas a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Sifon in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Najarro saved Galaxia FC from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bowburn players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
