Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Rafael Alas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Venganza's zone, Ismael Peredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Guardado came out of the goal and Ismael Peredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamín García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Alas in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Paredes to maneuver through the defense. When Christian Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Venganza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Martinez couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes, Agustin Paredes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS and the Venganza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Christian Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Alas came free, but Benjamín García reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ladislao Mondragon came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Mondragon couldn't finish the play. When NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS's Ladislao Mondragon in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th match minute, Venganza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avilio Salguero to maneuver through the defense. NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS's Ladislao Talia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venganza. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Luis Leiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamín García having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Ismael Peredes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Martinez in the 61st minute of play forced NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS's goalkeeper Benjamín García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avilio Salguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Alas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Benjamín García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shawn Rey hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Venganza's Amilcar Orobio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for NACIONAL DE BARRANDILLAS. Ladislao Mondragon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Guardado having to interfere. If Ismael Peredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
