In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Notoriouz Team's goalkeeper Mario Chavez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Portreath FC! After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Deris Guevara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Notoriouz Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Deris Guevara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Palencia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Notoriouz Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portreath FC:s goal. Isaac Barreto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 31st minute of the match Salvador Guevara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Chavez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deris Guevara in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Palencia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portreath FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Victorino was slow to take the kick. During this time Notoriouz Team's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Portreath FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Omar Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Daniel Victorino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deris Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
