Ulises Bran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Oscar Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Mondragon to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Waldir Escalante sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Oscar Navarro threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Waldir Escalante this time. In the 54th minute Primitivo Alferez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Bran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Alfaro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Oscar Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Barcelona. Julio Mondragon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Christian Cerritos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Esteban Alfaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dymchurch's Oscar Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Dymchurch from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Llorente during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Dymchurch got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Llorente. If Mauricio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Alferez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Primitivo Alferez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Julio Mondragon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Navarro having to interfere. If Mauricio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
