Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edwin Cruz got the match started through his kick off. Enrique Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Cruz in the 8th minute of play. Enrique Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Olimpia Fc's attentive Shawn Talia managed to snatch the ball when Edgar Sosa made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. After having played for 18 minutes, Edwin Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Olimpia Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Edwin Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Enrique Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Suarez came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club Astros's Pablo Barreto. But to his dismay, Pablo Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Astros's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Magaña came free, but Enrique Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Enrique Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Alvarenga having to interfere. Edwin Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Enrique Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Edgar Sosa's late challenge caught a Club Olimpia Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Sosa helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar Sosa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Futbol Club Astros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Orozco to maneuver through the defense. Shawn Talia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Olimpia Fc's Edwin Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 62 in the game by Edwin Cruz from a close distance when the talented Enrique Alvarenga managed to make a qualified save. Futbol Club Astros's players were relieved. Fabio Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Edwin Cruz from a close distance when the talented Enrique Alvarenga managed to make a qualified save. Futbol Club Astros's players were relieved. After 77 played minutes Club Olimpia Fc got a freekick which was hit by Shawn Talia. 78 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Astros's Ricardo Pérez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leonel Magaña struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Enrique Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Olimpia Fc. Dennys Renderos's late challenge caught a Club Olimpia Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Verdugo in the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Leopoldo Ulloa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Olimpia Fc were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
