If Wilmer Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilmer Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Padilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilmer Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Menjivar in the 29th minute of the match. If Marcos Menjivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Ruiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Padilla having to interfere. After 39 played minutes, Azerbaiyan's Hugo Rosales shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Padilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azerbaiyan reached it. Leopoldo Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Ruiz in the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in East Dereham FC's zone, Marcelo Ruiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Padilla came out of the goal and Marcelo Ruiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The East Dereham FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azerbaiyan were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Marcos Menjivar made the kick off in the second half. If Marcelo Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilmer Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Padilla made a huge save. The supporters of East Dereham FC booed when Azerbaiyan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, East Dereham FC's Pablo Villacorta tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Marcos Menjivar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Azerbaiyan's Miguel Rico. Miguel Rico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to East Dereham FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Felipe Huezo hit a great ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes, Pablo Villacorta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the East Dereham FC and the Azerbaiyan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Villacorta kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Azerbaiyan's Marcelo Ruiz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
