After a defensive mix-up in Worcester's zone, Armando Coreas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawn Barrera came out of the goal and Armando Coreas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Waldir Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Posadas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Richard Pinho hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes, Worcester's Hugo Leiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Espindola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Worcester reached it. Enrique Tobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Fuentes during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Bayern United's Emiliano Fuentes got a free kick in the 76th minute.
