Spectators: 7935 (Terracing: 5997, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enrique Tobar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enrique Tobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Enrique Tobar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Worcester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Tobar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The long shot by Alvaro Rico in the 20th minute really tested Shawn Barrera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Enrique Tobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Parada having to interfere. If Waldir Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reggae Boys's Henry Vasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Reggae Boys defense, Enrique Tobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Parada. The Reggae Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Parada should have stopped the shot. After 45 minutes, Enrique Tobar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Worcester and the Reggae Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Worcester were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hugo Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. Shawn Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Vasquez in the 52nd minute of the match. Enrique Tobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Parada having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Reggae Boys got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Renderos. After recieving a nice pass, Worcester's Hugo Leiva tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Waldir Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes, Eraldo Renderos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reggae Boys and the Worcester players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Tobar in the 70th minute of play forced Reggae Boys's goalkeeper Primitivo Parada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Henry Vasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Shawn Barrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldir Henriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Parada having to interfere. In the 85th minute Enrique Tobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Parada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Hugo Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Parada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Henriquez in the 94th minute. Enrique Tobar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Worcester's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
