Luis Serrano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Enrique Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Coreas's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Carmelo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Espindola having to interfere. If Pablo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Oscar Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bayern United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club Astros the free kick. With his leg Jorge Espindola managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when Futbol Club Astros's Pablo Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

But to his dismay, Pablo Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to FC Bayern United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cesar Rico hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Futbol Club Astros's Ricardo Pérez tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Futbol Club Astros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
