Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) Carmelo Barreto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real España's goalkeeper Sarbelio Canales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sarbelio Canales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Real España's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Barreto came free, but Sarbelio Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Viscarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Alvarenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Futbol Club Astros getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dennys Renderos hit a great ball. Ulises Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Alvarenga having to interfere. Marcelo Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real España's zone, Carmelo Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarbelio Canales came out of the goal and Carmelo Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilber Hidalgo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Ulises Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarbelio Canales having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ulises Guzman made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Futbol Club Astros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Orozco to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Guzman in the 57th minute of play. When Wilber Hidalgo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real España's protests and gave Wilber Hidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. Wilber Hidalgo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Pablo Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Futbol Club Astros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Barreto couldn't finish the play. After 64 played minutes Real España got a freekick which was hit by Wilber Hidalgo. After 65 played minutes, Futbol Club Astros's Ricardo Pérez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sarbelio Canales came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Futbol Club Astros reached it. Ulises Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarbelio Canales having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Futbol Club Astros's Carmelo Barreto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sarbelio Canales was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Carmelo Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futbol Club Astros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Enrique Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Guzman in the 84th minute of play. Ulises Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Viscarra in the 95th minute.
