Spectators: 6855 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a defensive mix-up in Real España's zone, Edwin Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarbelio Canales came out of the goal and Edwin Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia Fc's Shawn Talia got a free kick in the 10th minute. Marcelo Gutierrez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Suarez came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Gutierrez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. When Leonel Magaña came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Club Olimpia Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Magaña couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Carlos Bustamante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sarbelio Canales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Real España's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Cruz came free, but Sarbelio Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Magaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Olimpia Fc's Fabio Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Guzman in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real España's goalkeeper Sarbelio Canales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Max Viscarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fabio Suarez made a huge save. After 39 played minutes, Club Olimpia Fc's Shawn Talia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sarbelio Canales came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Olimpia Fc reached it. If Edwin Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Leonel Magaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Viscarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Gutierrez in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Olimpia Fc's goalkeeper Fabio Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Ulises Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Club Olimpia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Bustamante to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Llorente made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Olimpia Fc's Shawn Talia. Fabio Suarez came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Real España's Marcelo Gutierrez. But to his dismay, Marcelo Gutierrez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Alexis Medina made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Olimpia Fc's Carlos Bustamante. In the 83rd minute, Ulises Guzman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real España fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Mauricio Calderon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sarbelio Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarbelio Canales having to interfere. Real España's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
