Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dennys Umanzor kicked off to start the match. Dennys Umanzor charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennys Umanzor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Shireoaks FC booed when Club Felipe Carrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennys Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhalmar Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Alvarado having to interfere. In the 9th minute Jhalmar Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Alvarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Felipe Carrera's Dennys Umanzor got his second yellow card of the match in the 11th minute. The referee ordered Dennys Umanzor off the ground. Dennys Umanzor kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Shireoaks FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolás Aguirrez. Club Felipe Carrera's Agustin Quijada got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Esteban Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Club Felipe Carrera's goalkeeper Rony Alvarado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josue Prado. In the 41st match minute, Shireoaks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Arango to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Agustin Quijada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Quijada in the 46th minute of play forced Shireoaks FC's goalkeeper Esteban Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Club Felipe Carrera's Rony Alvarado got control of the ball when Josue Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josue Prado made a kick off. Agustin Quijada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Quijada got free with Esteban Moreira in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ronald Del Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Francisco Hidalgo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shireoaks FC and the Club Felipe Carrera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eraldo Bran walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 67th minute Alejandro Peredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Alvarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josue Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rony Alvarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Josue Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Alvarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Shireoaks FC's Josue Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rony Alvarado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shireoaks FC's Alejandro Peredes has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 82nd minute. Rony Alvarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Arango in the 86th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Club Felipe Carrera got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Zapata. After 91 played minutes, Shireoaks FC's Leopoldo Del Carmen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rony Alvarado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shireoaks FC reached it. The Club Felipe Carrera supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Felipe Carrera would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
