Deris Umanzor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thanet. Edwin Hurtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Villarreal was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Zelvin Bustamante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Carranza skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Leopoldo Villarreal sped through Thanet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Carranza. Félix Fornos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Luis Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Hampton in Arden FC defense, Félix Fornos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deris Umanzor. The Hampton in Arden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deris Umanzor should have stopped the shot. Luis Cabrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deris Umanzor having to interfere. Deris Umanzor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Cabrera in the 94th minute of the match. Luis Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Thanet fully deserved thier win.
