Alwinton's Marcos Quintanilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Alwinton from getting a goal against them. Will Cetino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Quintanilla in the 13th minute of the match. FESI MASIA's Will Cetino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Quintanilla in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Alwinton booed when FESI MASIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Erazo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Juan Barreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Quintanilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Barreto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Will Cetino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Bermudez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FESI MASIA's goalkeeper Will Cetino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Cetino having to interfere. In the 40th minute Edgar Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Cetino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Bermudez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Barreto was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Will Cetino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Barreto in the 53rd minute of play forced Alwinton's goalkeeper Marcos Quintanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Juan Barreto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Alwinton's Marcos Quintanilla. Marcos Quintanilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Orlando Quintanilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Quintanilla could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Will Cetino however easily saved by the left post. Eliseo Salguero kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Felipe Molina fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alwinton's protests and gave Felipe Molina a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Alwinton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Molina to maneuver through the defense. Will Cetino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Bermudez in the 83rd minute of play. Alwinton's Edgar Bermudez suffered a sore foot after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Omar Ancheta fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FESI MASIA's protests and gave Omar Ancheta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, FESI MASIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Ancheta to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FESI MASIA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alwinton had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
