The referee gave Reigate a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miguel Padilla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portreath City's Felipe Leiva. 0-1. Eraldo Salamanca might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Leiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eraldo Salamanca ran back to his position shaking his head. Portreath City's Felipe Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Arango in the 18th minute of play. Felipe Leiva came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Reigate's Primitivo Arango. But to his dismay, Primitivo Arango quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Salamanca in the 22nd minute of play forced Portreath City's goalkeeper Felipe Leiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Alonso Botello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portreath City's Felipe Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Arango in the 24th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Primitivo Arango in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Januario Espindola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Guerra having to interfere. Selvin Cabrera's late challenge caught a Portreath City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selvin Cabrera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Reigate's Selvin Cabrera got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Reigate's zone, Januario Espindola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani Guerra came out of the goal and Januario Espindola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Reigate's Primitivo Arango in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portreath City's goalie prevented a goal. Felipe Leiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Henriquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Eraldo Salamanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Arango to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Portreath City's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Salamanca came free, but Felipe Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Arango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Portreath City's Felipe Leiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Portreath City from getting a goal against them. Felipe Leiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Henriquez in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Eraldo Salamanca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Leiva. Eraldo Salamanca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Felipe Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Henriquez in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Claudio Henriquez lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Felipe Leiva. Primitivo Arango in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felipe Leiva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Portreath City booed when Reigate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zelvin Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Leiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Salamanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Salamanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Arango blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Leiva having to make a save.
