Primitivo Arango recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Madariaga stood somewhat misplaced when Primitivo Arango came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 25 minute. A collision led to Richmond City getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Isaac Sigaran hit a great ball. 32 minutes in the game Miguel Padilla got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Primitivo Arango sped through Richmond City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Madariaga. Primitivo Arango who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Madariaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Richmond City getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mario Viscarra hit a great ball. Eraldo Salamanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Julio Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Hurtado hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Coria to make the kick off. Julio Madariaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Arango went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Eraldo Salamanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Julio Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Salamanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Madariaga having to interfere. Christian Hurtado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Arango in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Madariaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Claudio Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Arango struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Julio Madariaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reigate. 84 minutes into the match, Richmond City's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Arango came free, but Julio Madariaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Salamanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reigate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
