Amilcar Mejia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Guardado in the 34th minute of play. If Zelvin Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Atletico Superacion getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ulises Santamaria hit a great ball. The throw-in from Fidel Alferez in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CD San Pedro Sula's Zelvin Gutierrez. In the 72nd minute, Zelvin Henriquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Superacion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. CD San Pedro Sula's William Guevara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lorenzo Barraza in the 78 minute of the game. Amilcar Mejia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Guardado in the 80th minute of play. Lorenzo Barraza made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CD San Pedro Sula's William Guevara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Guardado in the 87th minute of play forced CD San Pedro Sula's goalkeeper Amilcar Mejia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CD San Pedro Sula fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico Superacion were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
