Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Mirra FC defense, Doido De Maré kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rinat Dasaev. The Mirra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rinat Dasaev should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Rolando Jimenez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rinat Dasaev. Mirra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Jimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Ronald Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Ronald Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinat Dasaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Jairo Mendez put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rinat Dasaev. In the 66th match minute, Mirra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bahia Azul booed when Mirra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamín Alfaro's late challenge caught a Bahia Azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamín Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Mirra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. When Bahia Azul's Rolando Jimenez in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
