Catracho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedykt Michnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ventura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Bengt Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Stonehouse's Arnaud Naets threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Rico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bengt Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ventura having to interfere. If Baldomiro Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Catracho FC's goalkeeper Arnaud Naets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Lozano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Lozano got free with Arnaud Naets in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waclaw Kajdasz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Catracho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stonehouse's performance. The match ended with a win for Stonehouse.
