Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lorenzo Corpeño took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes, LibertØs FC's Arnoldo Torres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Milton Carrillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LibertØs FC reached it. If Marcelo Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Marcelo Barrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Figueroa. Marcelo Barrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, LibertØs FC's Rony Morales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milton Carrillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Milton Carrillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Morales in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Morales in the 29th minute of play forced St Ives's goalkeeper Milton Carrillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zelvin Tobar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in St Ives's zone, Rony Morales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milton Carrillo came out of the goal and Rony Morales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Brizuela took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milton Carrillo. Milton Carrillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Edgardo Brizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Milton Carrillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Brizuela made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, LibertØs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Corpeño came free, but Roberto Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, St Ives was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Espindola to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, St Ives's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Brizuela came free, but Milton Carrillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Brizuela did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Milton Carrillo 60 minutes into the match. If Rony Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Edgardo Brizuela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LibertØs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Brizuela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milton Carrillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Morales in the 76th minute. With a little luck, St Ives's Milton Carrillo got control of the ball when Rony Morales tried to sneak it across the goal line. St Ives's Milton Carrillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Brizuela in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Brizuela in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milton Carrillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. St Ives's Ronald Espindola got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Ronald Espindola off the ground. A collision led to St Ives getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ronald Espindola hit a great ball. LibertØs FC's Rony Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milton Carrillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Brizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LibertØs FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
