In the 24thth minute of the game Ulises Mendoza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stonehouse's Victor Ventura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Mendoza in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Ventura saved Stonehouse from getting behind. Arnoldo Toledano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victor Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Stonehouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Cerritos to maneuver through the defense. Victor Ventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Toledano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Ventura came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's Ulises Mendoza. But to his dismay, Ulises Mendoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ulises Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Victor Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronald Castaneda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Lozano in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Edgardo Amaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stonehouse the free kick. After 41 played minutes TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Amaya. Ulises Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ventura having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Toledano in the 47th minute of play forced Stonehouse's goalkeeper Victor Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Cerritos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stonehouse's Edgardo Cerritos got a free kick in the 48th minute. In the 48th minute, Arnoldo Toledano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Arnoldo Toledano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ventura having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Arnoldo Toledano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Ventura. TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN were furious when Saul Reyes was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Saul Reyes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Alexander Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Edgardo Cerritos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ulises Mendoza managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Mendoza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Ventura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edwin Lozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ronald Castaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Rojas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Ventura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Ulises Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Ventura didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. 88 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's goalkeeper Victor Ventura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Félix Reyes. Ulises Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ventura having to interfere. Ulises Mendoza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Ventura having to make a save. Alexander Rojas struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Victor Ventura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN. After a defensive mix-up in Stonehouse's zone, Alexander Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Ventura came out of the goal and Alexander Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Félix Reyes scored 0-5 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Ventura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stonehouse.
