Atletico Superacion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Guardado in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Ventura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute of the match Christian Llorente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Ventura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Flores during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Gabriel Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Zelvin Henriquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Atletico Superacion's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Cerritos came free, but Douglas Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stonehouse's Victor Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Guardado in the 35th minute of play. Douglas Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Asad was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's Edwin Lozano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Atletico Superacion booed when Stonehouse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo García didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zelvin Henriquez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Victor Ventura was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelvin Henriquez in the 65th minute of play forced Stonehouse's goalkeeper Victor Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Superacion's Christian Llorente got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Edgardo Cerritos fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stonehouse's protests and gave Edgardo Cerritos a yellow card for diving instead. Douglas Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Edwin Lozano sent off a good shot on target. Eraldo Benavides's late challenge caught a Stonehouse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eraldo Benavides helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Atletico Superacion got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Benavides. Jonathan Pimentel hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
