The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Barragan charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Barragan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's Zygmunt Dranka got a free kick in the 11th minute. Libardo Mayen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Efrain Tobar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's Laureano Jakue. Laureano Jakue was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laureano Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Oprea in the 24th minute of play. Amadeo Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Abílio Brochado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Libardo Mayen. Sopa de Caracol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abílio Brochado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Laureano Jakue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lv Peng Yi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's Abílio Brochado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Libardo Mayen. That made the score 2-3 after 35 minutes of play. Laureano Jakue came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Sopa de Caracol FC's Dacian Oprea. But to his dismay, Dacian Oprea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Laureano Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Gonchan to strike the kick off in the second half. If Abílio Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Laureano Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Peng Yi in the 54th minute of the match. Sopa de Caracol FC's Orlando Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Jakue was a little too slow when Orlando Palma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-5. The audience was convinced that Abílio Brochado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Libardo Mayen was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Sopa de Caracol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Brochado came free, but Libardo Mayen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's Laureano Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Peng Yi in the 72nd minute of play. Marcelo Barragan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Sopa de Caracol FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marcelo Barragan hit a great ball. Laureano Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Ramirez in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abílio Brochado in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Libardo Mayen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shawn Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Libardo Mayen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Amadeo Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Gonchan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Libardo Mayen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Shawn Guerrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sopa de Caracol FC the free kick. The supporters of Sopa de Caracol FC booed when ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball.
