Baltazar Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Lv Peng Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Franklin Monzon made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sopa de Caracol FC's Marcelo Barragan got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Wrex Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Monzon was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Gaizkine Urbina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaizkine Urbina really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Lv Peng Yis short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Franklin Monzon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeng Zhen Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sopa de Caracol FC's Lv Peng Yi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franklin Monzon. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Lv Peng Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Monzon was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 23rd match minute, Wrex Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Lv Peng Yi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Wrex Phoenix's Franklin Monzon. Franklin Monzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Orlando Palma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by Lv Peng Yi from a close distance when the talented Franklin Monzon managed to make a qualified save. Wrex Phoenix's players were relieved. Lv Peng Yi had several of the Wrex Phoenix's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Franklin Monzon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Libardo Mayen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Canales, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lv Peng Yis short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Franklin Monzon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lv Peng Yi in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franklin Monzon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lv Peng Yi had several of the Wrex Phoenix's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Franklin Monzon as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lv Peng Yi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franklin Monzon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lv Peng Yi's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes, Lv Peng Yi made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Wrex Phoenix's Franklin Monzon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaizkine Urbina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin Monzon having to make a save. After 58 minutes, Alvaro Quintanilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wrex Phoenix and the Sopa de Caracol FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Alvaro Quintanilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Sopa de Caracol FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Sopa de Caracol FC's Lv Peng Yi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sopa de Caracol FC's Lv Peng Yi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lv Peng Yi in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Monzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Sopa de Caracol FC's zone, Allan Canales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Libardo Mayen came out of the goal and Allan Canales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wrex Phoenix getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sarbelio Amaya hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Wrex Phoenix:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sopa de Caracol FC:s goal. Zeng Zhen Chuan took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Monzon. Franklin Monzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Franklin Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Ramirez in the 88th minute of the match. Libardo Mayen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alvaro Quintanilla. Franklin Monzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Peng Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Sopa de Caracol FC's Gaizkine Urbina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Monzon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Lv Peng Yi scored 14-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franklin Monzon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sopa de Caracol FC fully deserved thier win.
