In the 11th match minute, Wrex Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarbelio Amaya to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Wrex Phoenix defense, Abílio Brochado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Monzon. The Wrex Phoenix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Monzon should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's Abílio Brochado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franklin Monzon. Franklin Monzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abílio Brochado in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Monzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Wrex Phoenix's goalkeeper Franklin Monzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abílio Brochado. The throw-in from Orlando Ruiz in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ's Shawn Guerrero. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Canales made a kick off. When Abílio Brochado came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ⓁⒺⒼⒾⒶ•Ⓖ - ⒻⒻⒽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abílio Brochado couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Abílio Brochado sped through Wrex Phoenix's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franklin Monzon. If Abílio Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute Abílio Brochado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
