William Murgas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Pinho in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Allan Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Alexis Fornos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Matador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annscroft the free kick. A collision led to F.C. Matador getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alexis Fornos hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Selvin Asad made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Navarro. F.C. Matador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 25th minute, Humberto Salguero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Murgas having to make a save. Danilo Castro scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Murgas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Selvin Asad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Claudio Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Allan Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Murgas was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Danilo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Allan Pinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Matador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The supporters of Annscroft booed when F.C. Matador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Fornos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Selvin Asad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annscroft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selvin Asad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Salguero's late challenge caught a F.C. Matador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Salguero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Annscroft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Salguero to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Selvin Asad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Aguilar charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Aguilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, one of F.C. Matador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. Matador. Libardo Fernandez placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Allan Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C. Matador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
