The Mauricio Amaya was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Abraham Prado struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mauricio Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clay Cross. 20 minutes into the match, Clay Cross's goal looked a bit too open when Avilio Montes came free, but Daniel Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ickenham's Mauricio Amaya got control of the ball when Abraham Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Villatoro to make the kick off. The supporters of Clay Cross booed when Ickenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Prado scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Amaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillermo Ocampo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Daniel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Sarbelio Lovo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ickenham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ickenham's Mauricio Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Bermudez in the 76th minute of play. Clay Cross's Fidel Villatoro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Chavez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 82nd minute, Avilio Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarbelio Lovo in the 84th minute of play. Dagoberto Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
