Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Avilio Fernandez kicked off to start the match. Marvin Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Josue Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Ochoa in the 8th minute of play forced London Colney's goalkeeper Josue Madariaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Puerto Rico's Jorge Oporto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josue Madariaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Mauricio Alferez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Menjivar. Puerto Rico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Alferez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, London Colney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joselito Hurtado to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Ochoa in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josue Madariaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Puerto Rico's Augusto Ochoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josue Madariaga. That made the score 3-1 after 31 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Ochoa in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josue Madariaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Alvarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Ochoas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Josue Madariaga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Puerto Rico booed when London Colney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marvin Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Ochoa was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Marvin Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puerto Rico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marvin Ruiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in London Colney's zone, Marvin Ruiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josue Madariaga came out of the goal and Marvin Ruiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldir Pérez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Marvin Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Madariaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Augusto Ochoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto Rico's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Ochoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josue Madariaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, London Colney's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Ochoa came free, but Josue Madariaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josue Madariaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Oporto in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Marvin Ruiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puerto Rico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marvin Ruiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Mauricio Alferez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the London Colney and the Puerto Rico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Josue Madariaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Ruiz in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Marvin Ruiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, London Colney's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Ochoa came free, but Josue Madariaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Ochoa in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josue Madariaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Puerto Rico's Augusto Ochoa in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye London Colney's goalie prevented a goal. Marvin Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Puerto Rico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
