Adolfo Rodriguez was a little too slow when Marvin Montes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-1. Saltburn-by-the-sea's Leonel Alferez got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selvin Zelaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Jimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Diego Mena hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ronald Jimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Enrique Palencia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saltburn-by-the-sea's Selvin Zelaya. Selvin Zelaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Saltburn-by-the-sea's Marvin Montes in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ripley's goalie prevented a goal. Ronald Larios hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Leonel Alferez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Saltburn-by-the-sea were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
