Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Timperley's Efrain Nunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Timperley's Gabriel Guerrero got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronald Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Raúl García tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Will Sigaran kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Avilio Castaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Allan Fuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cowes City and the Timperley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Allan Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Julio Pedrozo's late challenge caught a Timperley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Pedrozo helped the player get up and apologised. Julio Pedrozo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Timperley's Ricardo Calderon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cowes City. Gabriel Guerrero struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Avilio Castaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timperley. Avilio Castaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Nunes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Raúl García came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cowes City's Ronald Martinez. But to his dismay, Ronald Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ronald Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cowes City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald Martinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl García breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Cowes City's Ronald Martinez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl García narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 42nd minute of the match Julio Pedrozo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Julio Pedrozo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cowes City getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Julio Pedrozo hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Efrain Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avilio Castaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronald Martinez took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúl García. Raúl García dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After some careless play in the Timperley defense, Felipe Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raúl García. The Timperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raúl García should have stopped the shot. Rafael Murgas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Avilio Castaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Guerrero in the 66th minute of play forced Cowes City's goalkeeper Avilio Castaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cowes City's Avilio Castaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Nunes in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cowes City's Allan Fuentes got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Timperley's Ricardo Calderon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 73rd play minutes Efrain Nunes shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Avilio Castaneda and just under the crossbar into goal. Felipe Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl García having to interfere. If Allan Fuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Raúl García didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cowes City. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Martinez got free with Raúl García in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Efrain Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Felipe Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Cowes City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Pimentel couldn't finish the play. Felipe Pimentel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúl García having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cowes City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
