In the 7th minute, Earlestown AFC's Antonio Medina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franklin Medina. Franklin Medina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Antonio Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Brampton's Franklin Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Brampton from getting a goal against them. Ulises Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Libardo Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avilio Castillo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sarbelio Orobio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Libardo Zapata. Earlestown AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Primitivo Umanzor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Libardo Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Braun's late challenge caught a Brampton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Braun helped the player get up and apologised. Primitivo Umanzor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Isaac Braun got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 40 played minutes Earlestown AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Braun. 44 minutes into the game, Omar Barragan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brampton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Earlestown AFC the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Zapata to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Earlestown AFC got a corner. Brampton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudy Villatoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Earlestown AFC's corner Rudy Villatoro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franklin Medina quite easily take care of the ball. Brampton's Franklin Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Zapata in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Brampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Llorente to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Antonio Medina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Earlestown AFC and the Brampton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Ulises Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonio Medina hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Brampton's Sarbelio Orobio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Earlestown AFC. In the 78th minute, Primitivo Umanzor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Umanzor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Rojas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Libardo Zapata. That made the score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. The supporters of Brampton booed when Earlestown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Zapata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brampton's Sarbelio Orobio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Earlestown AFC. Libardo Zapata made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Primitivo Umanzor sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Earlestown AFC's Edgar Boianelli got a free kick in the 97th minute. Brampton's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
