Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ulises Rojas kicked off to start the match. Felipe Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Esteban Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halstead FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Peña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Brampton's Franklin Medina got control of the ball when Felipe Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Primitivo Umanzor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Halstead FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Cruz. Ulises Rojas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Santana having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Halstead FC's Elias Cruz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Brampton's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felipe Moreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Franklin Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Peña in the 28th minute of play. Franklin Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Ulises Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Esteban Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halstead FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Peña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Umanzor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Esteban Peña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Medina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Halstead FC's Patricio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Rojas in the 56th minute of play. When Brampton's Primitivo Umanzor in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Patricio Santana guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 71st minute Ulises Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Primitivo Umanzor fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brampton's protests and gave Primitivo Umanzor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Halstead FC booed when Brampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Umanzor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Primitivo Umanzor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Felipe Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Medina having to interfere. Primitivo Umanzor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Patricio Santana made a huge save. A collision led to Brampton getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edgar Zapata hit a great ball. Halstead FC's Felipe Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Esteban Peña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Franklin Medina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brampton players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Halstead FC.
