The referee showed Roberto Mondragon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulises Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luis Batres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Mondragon struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Franklin Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fakenham AFC. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ronald Cortez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Brampton booed when Fakenham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odir Hidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Primitivo Umanzor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fakenham AFC's Roberto Mondragon got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Brampton's zone, Roberto Mondragon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Medina came out of the goal and Roberto Mondragon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brampton's goalkeeper Franklin Medina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Roberto Mondragon came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Fakenham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Mondragon couldn't finish the play. Ronald Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Medina having to interfere. Primitivo Umanzor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luis Batres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
