The Chiswick FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Suarez should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Henriquez in the 16th minute of play. When Paolo Costas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nottingham's protests and gave Paolo Costas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nottingham getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Paolo Costas hit a great ball. Salvador Tobar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Elias Molina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oswaldo Suarez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Erazo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. If Hector Murgas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Murgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Molina having to interfere. Fidel Henriquez's late challenge caught a Chiswick FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Henriquez helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Nottingham got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Henriquez. After recieving a nice pass, Chiswick FC's Joselito Henriquez tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Gabriel Erazo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Nottingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Erazo couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Nottingham's goalkeeper Elias Molina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Tobar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Murgas in the 47th minute of play forced Nottingham's goalkeeper Elias Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Murgas to make the kick off. Nottingham's Fidel Henriquez got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chiswick FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rafael Cabrera hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Emerson Del Carmen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Suarez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Salvador Tobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiswick FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Tobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Erazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Chiswick FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gabriel Erazo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gabriel Erazo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Oswaldo Suarez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hector Murgas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nottingham players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chiswick FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
