Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilmer Castro got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Wilmer Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flitwick's Januario Erazo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oswaldo Molina but with some difficulty. The supporters of Hale FC booed when Flitwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Hernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Batres struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Alexander Sandoval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hale FC. Oswaldo Molina made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Pablo Del Carmen sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Wilmer Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Sandoval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efren Lara in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Jose Meza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Pablo Del Carmen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo Molina. Hale FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Del Carmen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 35th minute, Luis Mena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Del Carmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Hale FC's Francisco Victorino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Sandoval made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efren Lara made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flitwick's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ovidio Batres was slow to take the kick. During this time Hale FC's players had a chance to rest. Edgardo Salamanca's late challenge caught a Flitwick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Salamanca helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Salamanca kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Wilmer Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswaldo Molina having to make a save. When Luis Mena came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Flitwick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Mena couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Molina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Del Carmen went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Flitwick's Jose Meza got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to Hale FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Omar Umanzor hit a great ball. Hale FC's Oswaldo Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Del Carmen in the 95th minute of play. Wilmer Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flitwick's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
