In the 40th minute, Edgardo Salamanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Flitwick booed when Hale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Edgardo Salamanca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hale FC and the Flitwick players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Hale FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Salamanca to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Cesar Villacorta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oswaldo Molina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Santana to make the kick off. Claudio Guevara struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Oswaldo Molina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flitwick. Oswaldo Molina came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Flitwick's Claudio Guevara. But to his dismay, Claudio Guevara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 91st minute, Luis Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Ovidio Batres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Flitwick got a freekick which was hit by Luis Santana.
