A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Holland-on-Sea's Ramon Coreas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Huezo in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Holland-on-Sea's goalkeeper Ramon Coreas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avilio Villanueva. Avilio Villanueva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Coreas having to interfere. Ramon Coreas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Huezo in the 14th minute. The supporters of Wanborough booed when Holland-on-Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Alas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Esteban Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Avilio Villanueva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holland-on-Sea's Ramon Coreas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamín Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Patricio Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés Hernández's late challenge caught a Wanborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrés Hernández helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Holland-on-Sea getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Andrés Hernández hit a great ball. A hard shot 39 in the game by Avilio Villanueva from a close distance when the talented Ramon Coreas managed to make a qualified save. Holland-on-Sea's players were relieved. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Luis Alas made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot by Patricio Mejia from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Patricio Bermudez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ramon Coreas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avilio Villanueva's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avilio Villanueva in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Coreas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 66 minutes, Luis Alas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holland-on-Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Alas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Huezo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ramon Coreas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wanborough. A collision led to Wanborough getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Patricio Umaña hit a great ball. Avilio Villanueva struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Holland-on-Sea's zone, Avilio Villanueva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Coreas came out of the goal and Avilio Villanueva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanborough were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
