Adolfo Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nacional De Guatemala getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Adolfo Bermudez hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gilberto Monzon sped through Nacional De Guatemala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dennys Leguizamon. Dennys Leguizamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhalmar Vasquez in the 16th minute of the match. Gilberto Monzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennys Leguizamon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Monzon in the 20th minute of play forced Nacional De Guatemala's goalkeeper Dennys Leguizamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Monzon struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dennys Leguizamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dove Holes AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Monzon in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennys Leguizamon saved Nacional De Guatemala from getting behind. Arnoldo Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Noyola in the 31st minute of the match. Cesar Rojas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Barrera made a huge save. Dennys Leguizamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Monzon in the 43rd minute of play. If Cesar Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Umaña hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Monzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Dennys Leguizamon managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Dove Holes AFC's Jhalmar Vasquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Dove Holes AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ricardo Barquero hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Rojas in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Barrera saved Dove Holes AFC from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Dove Holes AFC's Gilberto Monzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennys Leguizamon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennys Leguizamon made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jhalmar Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dove Holes AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Escalante was slow to take the kick. During this time Nacional De Guatemala's players had a chance to rest. Fidel Noyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arnoldo Barrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Castro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dove Holes AFC! Jhalmar Vasquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Dennys Leguizamon made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional De Guatemala's zone, Jhalmar Vasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennys Leguizamon came out of the goal and Jhalmar Vasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Barquero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Noyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Barrera having to interfere.
