Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Claudio Botello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Claudio Botello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Pinho was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Alonso Peña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Henry Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Botello's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Joselito Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Guzman having to interfere. Dennys Menjivar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Claudio Botello sped through Ashton-in-Makerfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Pinho. In the 27th minute, Alonso Peña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonso Peña went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Victor Guzman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennys Menjivar in the 39th minute. A collision led to Earby getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abraham Rivas hit a great ball. When Alonso Peña came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Earby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonso Peña couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Galdamez was the one to do the kick off. Henry Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Melendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Pinho made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Alonso Peña sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Alonso Peña sped through Ashton-in-Makerfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Pinho. Dennys Menjivar took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Guzman. Victor Guzman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Yasir Batres charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yasir Batres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yasir Batres kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Henry Pinho came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Earby's Alonso Peña. But to his dismay, Alonso Peña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Earby's goalkeeper Victor Guzman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennys Menjivar in the 81st minute of play forced Earby's goalkeeper Victor Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Rivas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dennys Menjivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Guzman having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Ashton-in-Makerfield got a freekick which was hit by Joselito Machado. Januario Aguilar, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Henry Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Botello in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Ashton-in-Makerfield got a freekick which was hit by Yasir Batres. Dennys Menjivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Guzman having to interfere. The Ashton-in-Makerfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Earby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
