Claudio Botello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Flores having to make a save. If Claudio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Navarro's late challenge caught a Earby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Flores made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Alonso Peña sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Earby booed when Sidcup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Padilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Sidcup's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Peña came free, but Fidel Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Max Padilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sidcup and the Earby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sidcup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonso Peña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 80 minutes into the game, Rafael Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Victor Guzman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 83 minutes, Alonso Peña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Earby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonso Peña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Alonso Peña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Fidel Flores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Sidcup's Hugo Alvarenga got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sidcup's zone, Alonso Peña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Flores came out of the goal and Alonso Peña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Earby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
