After 6 minutes of play, Fairfield FC's Julio Henriquez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Arango was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute Augusto Escalante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ochoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Augusto Escalante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gabriel Ochoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute Augusto Escalante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ochoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ochoa having to interfere. Arturo Portillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Augusto Escalante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Portillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gabriel Ochoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 39 minutes into the game, Agustin Ochoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fairfield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wôrld Søccer Prømises the free kick. In the 39th minute, Agustin Ochoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Portillos short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Gabriel Ochoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Escalante was the one to do the kick off. Julio Henriquez in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Arango, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Fairfield FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Emiliano Zapata hit a great ball. If Augusto Escalante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benjamín Collado fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fairfield FC's protests and gave Benjamín Collado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wôrld Søccer Prømises booed when Fairfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamín Collado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fairfield FC's Gabriel Ochoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Escalante in the 74th minute of play. Gabriel Ochoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Escalante in the 77th minute of play. Gabriel Ochoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Arturo Portillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ochoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Fairfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Salazar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fairfield FC's zone, Arturo Portillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ochoa came out of the goal and Arturo Portillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Escalante in the 85th minute of play forced Fairfield FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Osorio during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Max Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Ochoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Escalante in the 92nd minute of play. Gabriel Ochoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Escalante in the 98th minute of the match. Fairfield FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Wôrld Søccer Prømises had controlled the match.
