In the 31st minute Milton Carballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Berrueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarbelio Carrillo in the 35th minute of play forced East Molesey's goalkeeper Giovani Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Berrueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milton Carballo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Giovani Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Milton Carballo was the one to do the kick off. Giovani Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Suarez in the 54th minute of the match. When Victorino Del Cid fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Molesey's protests and gave Victorino Del Cid a yellow card for diving instead. Allan Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Giovani Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
