Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Najarro made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Salguero in the 3rd minute of play forced Thanet FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bexhill on Sea United's zone, Alexander Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Castaneda came out of the goal and Alexander Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Najarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ulises Castaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Bonilla in the 19th minute of play. If Miguel Najarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Thanet FC booed when Bexhill on Sea United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Castillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Ulises Castaneda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bexhill on Sea United's Ulises Castaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Najarro in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Alexander Castillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Najarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jonathan Bonilla made the kick off in the second half. Bexhill on Sea United were furious when Ladislao Rojas was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Edgardo Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Rene Rojas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Ovidio Salguero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bexhill on Sea United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Salguero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ovidio Salguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Salguero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Alvaro Ribeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Ovidio Salguero came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bexhill on Sea United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Salguero couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Edgardo Santamaria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Ribeiro. Thanet FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Santamaria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ulises Castaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Najarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ovidio Salguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Miguel Najarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thanet FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Miguel Najarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
