Alvaro Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Erick Salamanca fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thanet FC's protests and gave Erick Salamanca a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Thanet FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Erick Salamanca hit a great ball. Arnoldo Ochoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Najarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexis Jimenez in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Ribeiro saved Thanet FC from getting behind. After 20 played minutes Kensington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Galdamez. 27 minutes into the match, Thanet FC's Alexander Castillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Ochoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Zapata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Miguel Najarro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Thanet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Najarro couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Ochoa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Thanet FC's Alexander Castillo. But to his dismay, Alexander Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Christian Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Najarro to make the kick off. Miguel Najarro scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnoldo Ochoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Esteban Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Thanet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Edgardo Bermudez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Arnoldo Ochoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanet FC's Miguel Najarro got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Ochoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Castillo in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Kensington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Salinas to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Pimentel succeeded in the game's 81st minute to get real power on a long shot . Kensington AFC's Arnoldo Ochoa hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 4-2! Erick Salamanca hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Thanet FC's zone, Félix Salguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Ribeiro came out of the goal and Félix Salguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Ribeiro having to interfere. A collision led to Kensington AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Félix Salguero hit a great ball.
