Ovidio Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ruben Ancheta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Barreto in the 4th minute of the match. Lobo Rojo FC's Ruben Ancheta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Lobo Rojo FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jhonnatan Duarte got free with Ruben Ancheta in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Jhonnatan Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ruben Ancheta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jhonnatan Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ruben Ancheta made a huge save. In the 38th minute Ovidio Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Barreto had several of the Lobo Rojo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ruben Ancheta as he didn't even see the shot coming. Edgardo Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Ramirez was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Ancheta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Ancheta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhonnatan Duarte in the 58th minute of play. Lobo Rojo FC's Ruben Ancheta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhonnatan Duarte in the 59th minute of play. Carmelo Corrales's late challenge caught a Lobo Rojo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Corrales helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Carmelo Corrales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jhonnatan Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jairo Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Lobo Rojo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Palma to maneuver through the defense. Jhonnatan Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Ancheta having to interfere. Edgardo Barreto took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Ancheta. Ruben Ancheta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Jhonnatan Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lobo Rojo FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Misael Fuentes hit a great ball.
