Newbiggin City's Shawn Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Guillermo Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Newbiggin City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Del Carmen to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Mendez placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Guillermo Henriquez came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Manor Park FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Henriquez couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Del Carmen charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Del Carmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mauricio Del Carmen hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Manor Park FC's protests and gave Cesar Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manor Park FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
