The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Edgardo Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clitheroe United's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Aguilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Palma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Amilcar Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Edwin Sifon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brockenhurst City's Edgar Palma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Josue Ventura might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Arellano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josue Ventura ran back to his position shaking his head. Amilcar Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edgar Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Arellano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josue Ventura went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Brockenhurst City's Mauricio García got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Waldir Meza mouthed his way into the referee's book. But to his dismay, Josue Ventura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Waldir Meza kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Clitheroe United's Amilcar Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edgardo Aguilar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Clitheroe United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Aguilar couldn't finish the play. Brockenhurst City's Ronald Corpeño got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Brockenhurst City booed when Clitheroe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Palencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Brockenhurst City's Josue Ventura fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. After 92 played minutes Clitheroe United got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Duarte. Brockenhurst City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
