Raúl Ocampo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Fabio Carrillo made a huge save. Camilo Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Edwin Espindola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Gallardo in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin Espindola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Misael Najarro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Carrillo. The goal made the score 1-0. Malton United's Edwin Espindola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Gallardo in the 16th minute of play. Fabio Carrillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Misael Najarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Misael Najarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Rivas in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Carrillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 29 minutes into the match, Colegio San Sebastián's Camilo Villarreal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin Espindola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Carrillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Misael Najarro's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Colegio San Sebastián's goalkeeper Fabio Carrillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Rivas. The audience was convinced that Camilo Villarreal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edwin Espindola was relentless in the 49th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Villarreal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colegio San Sebastián were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Malton United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Mejia took the corner. Misael Najarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fabio Carrillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Edwin Espindola managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Colegio San Sebastián's Patricio Gallardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Villarreal in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edwin Espindola saved Malton United from getting behind. Edwin Espindola came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Colegio San Sebastián's Patricio Gallardo. But to his dismay, Patricio Gallardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 75th minute Misael Najarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Carrillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Misael Najarro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colegio San Sebastián's Fabio Carrillo. Fabio Carrillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raúl Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Carrillo having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Misael Najarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Colegio San Sebastián got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Reyes. When Misael Najarro came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Malton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Misael Najarro couldn't finish the play. Jose Carballo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Malton United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexander Velis in the 93rd minute. After taking down the ball on Malton United's corner Alexander Velis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabio Carrillo quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Colegio San Sebastián getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Patricio Gallardo hit a great ball. When Misael Najarro came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Malton United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Misael Najarro couldn't finish the play.
