The supporters of Leek FC booed when Yatton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Barraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Mendez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Dennys Costas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dennys Costas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jose Madariaga hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selvin Noyola in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Molina saved Leek FC from getting behind. A collision led to Yatton City getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carlos Osorio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Leek FC's Henry Rivero tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Selvin Noyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Selvin Noyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Molina having to interfere. In the 49th minute Selvin Noyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Misael Baptista to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Yatton City's Roberto Pacheco tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dennys Costas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Mendez in the 65th minute of the match. Leek FC's Alvaro Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Misael Baptista in the 71st minute of play. Alvaro Molina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selvin Noyola in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Eraldo Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eraldo Chavez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennys Costas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eraldo Chavez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Leek FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Misael Baptista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alvaro Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selvin Noyola in the 85th minute of play. Dennys Costas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Chavez in the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Yatton City defense, Eraldo Chavez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennys Costas. The Yatton City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennys Costas should have stopped the shot. Carlos Osorio's late challenge caught a Leek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. Leek FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
