MONTERREY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Galeas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Januario Parada to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, F.C. MONTERREY's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Sosa came free, but David Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calverley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Januario Parada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Zapata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Januario Parada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Zapata was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The Calverley United fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Calverley United's Adolfo Sosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
